  • Columbia House, where his responsibilities covered sales and profits of The Columbia Record and Tape Club.  Accomplishments include the creation of a new profit center. 

Scott is also a contributor to the following books:
Integrated Direct Marketing: The Cutting Edge Strategy for Synchronizing Advertising, Direct Mail, Telemarketing and Field Sales, published by NTC Business Books.  This book explains critical aspects of the battle tested Integrated Direct Marketing process, including detailed results, financial analyses and guidelines for how to implement Integrated Direct Marketing.  The book is widely read in Fortune companies and used as a textbook in MBA graduate courses.
 
Integrated Direct Marketing: Techniques and Strategies for Success, published by McGraw-Hill.  The book explains the foundations of Integrated Direct Marketing and provides case histories of early results from blue chip clients.  It has become a landmark book on reengineering the sales and marketing process.
